Homework for November 5, 2009

From the Office:
Due to the flu outbreak, the Veterans Day Program has been postponed to sometime near Memorial Day.

No Open Gym for the rest of the week.

Geography- Chapter 5 Test (remake upon return)
Great Issues- Question One and Question Five, assess the results and provide your insider's viewpoint on how the election resulted. Check http://www.bangornews.com/ for voting results
U.S. History- Chapter 3 Section 5, do questions 1-5
World History- Chapter 4 Section 1 (Ancient Greece) questions 1-5
Civics- Overview the individual Bill of Rights, summarize what you believe each amendment represents. In other words, present each one as how you see it serves you in terms of your rights.

Formal Paper, MLA Guidelines, One full page min. (500-600 words preferred)

Submitted via email attachment ONLY. It will be graded as per

the PA Holistic Scoring Guide Rubric (let me know if you need another).

Reminder: Journals, Vocab and Reading Summaries will begin again next week.

Friday, 11/6: Bring in Permission Slip to view Macbeth in class.

11/6: Journal.

Monday, 11/9:  Ind. Reading Summary.


Ongoing assignment requirements:

Journal = at least four ½ to 1 page entries, due every Friday.

Vocab = at least 20 words and definitions, due every Wednesday.

Reading Summary = ½ to 1 full page entry, due every Monday.
