Grade 9: OPTIONAL ASSIGNMENTS:
Over Break: Read a novel and write a three (3) page formal paper describing how it made you feel, what you learned from reading it, or what you thought the author was trying to teach us by writing the book. If you earn a “20” or above on the PA Writing Rubric, you will earn a “100 %” on this EXTRA CREDIT assignment.
Catch up on any missing work and you’ll get a reduced late penalty.
Grade 10:

Rewrite, using the proofreading skills we discussed in class, your “Poetry Analysis” paper. I’ll REPLACE your grade with the new one.
