NOTE: No late work (except that excused by the JBHS absence policy) will be accepted after Friday, June 4.

Grade 9: Prepare for final exam, which will include content questions on this term’s reading: “Romeo and Juliet,” “The Gift of the Magi,” “The Scarlet Ibis” and “The Golden Kite, the Silver Wind” and concept questions regarding literary concepts, terms, and forms. Bring in any questions you have.

Grade 10: Prepare for final exam, which will include content questions on this term’s reading: “Hamlet,” “By The Waters of Babylon,” and  “There Will Come Soft Rains” and concept questions regarding literary concepts, terms, and forms. Bring in any questions you have.

Grade 11: Read Act IV of “The Crucible.” Prepare for final exam, which will include content questions on this term’s reading: “The Outcasts of Poker Flat,” and  “The Crucible” and concept questions regarding literary concepts, terms, and forms. Bring in any questions you have.

Grade 12: If your yearlong grade is below 85%, prepare for the final by selecting a poem from NEA’s “Poetry Out Loud” to analyze. Visit  http://www.poetryoutloud.org
