Grade 9: Over Break: KNOW Plot, Characters, and Major Themes of “Romeo and Juliet,” EITHER by reading the Shakespearean text (Textbook, p. 764), the online text, the “No Fear Shakespeare” version, or even just by closely studying the “Sparknotes” on the play, WHICHEVER “feels” most comfortable for YOU. RECOMMENDATION: ALL OF THE ABOVE. There will be a quiz on Tuesday, April 27 on Characters, Plot and Themes.

Grade 9: Bring in Permission Slip for Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet if you haven’t already. We will be continuing to work on the “Convince the Jury” paper, so you can get a head start on a second draft.
Grade 10: Read Act III, Scene 4 of Hamlet. Use NFS or Sparknotes or whatever resources you need to understand the text. (Also read Act III, Sc. 3 if you missed class on Friday).
Grade 11: Catch up to your schedule on PrepMe. We will be using class time once again for SAT preparation. REMINDER: One week before Break, the week of Break, and one week after Break is all the time we have to prepare.
Grade 12: Digital portfolio – Start to develop your Resume. Gather “Best Work” materials from ALL of your other subjects, video and pictures in any formats (VHS, Digital Tape, Camera Memory Cards, Audiotape, etc.) of extra-curricular activities and community involvement.
